Dear Friend, I know I wasn't here for you today. I was caught up writing a new story; the idea had been on my mind for long, and inspiration knocked my door. You were upset, I understood, but I could not understand why; you never told me. You only said you wished to be like me. I didn't understand. Dear Friend, You never fail to bring a smile to my face, even on my darkest days. Hidden in your random comments are words of wisdom I sometimes fail to notice... Me: "I just feel so bad saying no, I can't. I can't say no to a friend." You: "... do you like sushi?" Me: "No, not really!" You: "See, there you go. You just said 'no' to me." Thank you. Dear Friend, The distance between us is enormous. No, the actual distance. You're always close to my heart. Dear Friend, The distance between us is growing, ever so slowly... I constantly find myself incapable of stealing your sadness. I wish I could only give you some of the happiness you brought into my life. It grew; and now I have plenty to share. Dear Friend, I don't know what else to say. I cannot find the words to express it. Once upon a time, I met you, and you changed me. You showed me the other side of life; the one in front of the Wall of Reality, where the sun is always shining ever so brightly. Yet, I constantly fail to repay that debt. Dear Friend, I'm sorry if I ever hurt you. I'm sorry if there was ever a time when I was not there for you. I'm sorry if I could not give you much, except my heart and soul. I'm sorry if I have not been a good friend. But please know this: no matter how far apart in distance, no matter how far apart in time, I will always be here for you. You will always be the smile on my face and the sunshine in my heart. .................................................... |

3D Street Art.
No Julian Beever this time, but what we have here is one bad-ass 3D pavement chalk drawing. Edgar Mueller is responsible for today's illusion. I'm not sure what you think, but seems these chalk drawings surpassed Julian's artwork by more than an inch. Our looks fall for what was once a quite normal street of a German, medium-sized town. Immediately an apocalyptic scene offers itself to the observer. The floor bursts, and lava flows into a raging sea. There is a disaster in town, where cars ran once and people followed their daily routine. Nothing is like it once was. The superior elemental force forces its way. But as it is with most stuff on this site, appearances are deceptive. Only if one looks from right point of view, Muellers three-dimensional painting becomes perfect disaster illusion. If you noticed, there is a water flowing in the center of the street, I just can't figure what the hell it has to do with the lava theme? Check Edgar's flooded street, when you're finished here.
